California
The use of repair devices is regulated at the local and/or regional level. There are several White Knight™ installations in California.

Florida

The White Knight™ is approved for remediation of leach areas as long as the leach area is not located in an area of very shallow ground water. The IOS-500™ bacterial blend has gone through the strenuous testing required under Florida's statutes and is approved as an additive. Results from this testing are available.

Georgia

The approval process for the White Knight™ has now been initiated.

Maine

The White Knight™ holds general approval from the State of Maine. EnviroCheck, Inc, regional distributor for the White Knight, installed and tested nearly 50 units over the period of one year which led to this approval. A copy of the results of this study are available from Dana Darling, VP of EnviroCheck. The White Knight™ may be incorperated into any new and existing systems throughout the State.

Massachusetts

Approval for the White Knight™ is anticipated in early 2004 under Title V of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection regulations

New Hampshire

New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services has approved the White Knight™ for use on failed systems.

New Jersey

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has reviewed the White Knight™ and has accepted the White Knight™ for use on failed systems.

New York

The State of New York does not have an approval mechanism for products. The New York State Health Department will provide a letter as to a product's compliance or not with regulations. The White Knight™ has been issued such a letter. The White Knight™ may be used for its intended use on existing systems, because the State's regulations do not address existing systems. The White Knight™ may be used on new systems only if designed and justified by an engineer. Some localities have regulations that address existing systems and most of those localities welcome the White Knight™ as a treatment enhancement option.

North Carolina

The approval process for the White Knight™ has now been initiated.

Pennsylvania

Rhode Island

The approval process for the White Knight™ has now been initiated under of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management regulations

South Carolina

The approval process for the White Knight™ has now been initiated.

Wisconsin

Approval has been granted in Dec 2003 for use of the White Knight™ under Comm 83/84 of the Wisconsin Department of Commerce regulations.

Virginia

The State Department of Health has reviewed the the White Knight™ under GMP-122 and has listed it on as an approved product. The White Knight™ may be used for repairs to biologically failed systems within the state.

Vermont

The nature of Vermont's regulations are such that approval is given on a case to case basis. There are several White Knight™ Installations in Vermont.
